Military Strippers II

“Military Strippers”

After finishing all the Military Quilts the “Strippers” were ready to delivery them!
It was two very rewarding days taking our gifts of thanks to the Crocker Senior Center and the Sunset Nursing home.
The veterans in Crocker invited us to join them in lunch and pleasant conversation.
Our quilts can not totally express our thanks to those men and women who served so we can enjoy our freedom in this wonderful county.

These are some of the many quilts we gave out that day.

Getting set-up for the Craft Fair

Craft Fair  Nov. 2013

It was a long afternoon and evening getting the Center prepared for the venders to arrive with their goodies and to be ready for the buyers the next morning.  The stage was set-up by Dana with the helping hands of Liz and Viola. Looking good, ladies.
June, Victoria, and Alex were among the team getting the areas lined out, tables and chairs set-up.  Our entry table was manned by Vicki, Lois, Liz and Viola.

We had a busy day!

It was a successful day for all.  Check out Portia giving out one of the many door prizes. All the door prizes were donated by the vendors.  The Young Marines prepared food and drink for the hungry.

There was not a quiet moment during the day. People coming and going all day.

And then it was over!!
