The Friendship Tea Cup Quilt was our first workshop project of the year.
With May instructing, each participating member will make the required
number of teacup blocks and these blocks will then be exchanged toward
the end of the year. Each block will have the makers name on it. When
the blocks are exchanged, pieced and quilted the ladies will have a quilt
with the names of their friends.

During the January meeting Bonnie gave out the requirements
for the Challenge Quilt. Those members who want to be involved
in the challenge will soon be given the requirements. They will
have most of the year to design, piece and quilt a wall hanging.
The quilts will then be hung and judged.

I'm trying to find a way to contact the guild. I wanted to send this letter.
ReplyDeleteI'm Andrew Esswein with the Silk Cocoon LLC, I'm from St. Louis Missouri. I just started an online store selling silk products. I carry wholesale embroidery supplies and embroidery kits. I was wondering if you could help me get the word out about my new business. I'm hoping I can get linked up with quilters and embroiderers and let them know about my business.
Silk is really a great fabric to work with, it's luxurious and it shines. I'm working on getting silk fabrics in my store too. I currently carry many kinds of silk threads. The shipping takes a little while because it's all imported directly. This will change in the future as my company grows, I'll get a warehouse in the US and have faster shipping.
If you could add my link to guilds list of suppliers I would be very happy. Please let me know what I can do to please you and your group.
