Mystery Quilt Progress

Well we began the month of May with this new clue block...

And by the month of June we had tops put together...

And by July we were beginning to see some real results of beautifully pieced and quilted quilts...

This mystery was revealed as Bonnie Hunter's "Christmas Lights" quilt pattern!

Mystery Clue #4

Naturally, April being the 4th month of the year, the 4th mystery clue was announced!  

Clue#4 - Block 1 & Setting Triangles

Here's Heather explaining Clue # 4 during the guild meeting.  And look at the 8 members who have kept up with the mystery so far proudly displaying their March clues #3!

Mystery Clue - March

Clue three will be given tonight at the guild meeting.  Units #1 & #2 are added on to and we construct block quarters A & B!

If any of you are beginning to recognize this design or if you know who the designer is and which quilt this is...please do not spoil it for the others in the comments (but feel free to comment otherwise - just please don't give it away).  I'll give the designer credit at the end of our mystery, of course!

Mystery - February

Anyone finished with this month's clue already?  I know that some of you are...I've gotten a few phone calls asking for help and advice.  I've even had a call or two letting me know of completed blocks (we have some real go-getters in our group)!

Clue two was given this month at the guild meeting.  Units #3 & #4 are more half-square triangles and quarter-half triangles.

Mystery - January

Let me just tell you that it's so much fun to give clues each month and answer questions that the members come up with as we move along!  

I have not completed this quilt yet, but instead opted to quilt along, but just one month ahead of the group.  This way,  I am able to show the completed blocks as an example at each guild meeting when the clue is revealed.  With the designer's permission, I have broken the piecing instructions down into 6 clues, each containing 2 parts.

This is clue one, Units #1 & #2.  I gave this clue in January, 4-patches and half-square triangles.

How are you doing so far?  Everyone keeping up?
